What does being a Rotarian mean to me?
“My father was a Rotarian for over 30 years. It was something he always talked about. As part of an all girl family, I always wanted to do something like my dad.
In 1988 Rotary International approved the admission of women. This wonderful event then allowed me the opportunity to be like my dad and join Rotary. He was able to come to my induction and pin the Rotary pin on my lapel. How special that day was and it began a journey of service in Rotary just like my father experienced."
