Above all else, Spring Valley emphasizes service to the community. Whether you are interested in serving the homeless, veterans in need, people with disabilities, or children and teens, Spring Valley provides multiple opportunities for community involvement. Volunteering is the best way to get to know your fellow Rotarians and the community at large.

Leadership Opportunities

The city of Columbia faces many challenges that can only be addressed through a strong volunteer base. Rotary is engaged in many operations throughout the city that require leadership. There is no better way to publicly demonstrate your personal and professional skills than to step up and take the lead of one of the club’s many service projects.

Networking Opportunities

Spring Valley Rotary attracts leaders from all major business and community sectors. Professionals from legal and financial services, real estate, healthcare, entertainment and education gather regularly, not only to serve the community, but to network with one another. Rotary provides a smart way to connect to the most prominent leaders in Columbia, as well as community leaders from 34,000 clubs around the world. Members are encouraged to conduct business together.

Special Events

Rotarians enjoy celebrating the good that is being done in the community. The members of Spring Valley Rotary participate in many special events and celebrations throughout the year in an effort to raise the visibility of good causes.
